Hier word ik gewoon blij van! Sinds 1955 heeft Loes Veenstra meer dan 500 truien gebreid, Ze heeft ze altijd bewaard in haar woning aan de 2e Carnissetraat in Rotterdam. De truien zijn nooit gedragen . Tot vandaag. De truien worden gepresenteerd in het boek "Het Verzameld Breiwerk van Loes Veenstra uit de 2e Carnissestraat", samengesteld door Christien Meindertsma, geprubliceerd door de Stichting Kunstimplantaat. Since 1955, Loes Veenstra knitted over 500 sweaters and stored them in her home on the 2nd Carnissestraat in Rotterdam. The sweaters have never been worn. Until today. The sweaters are all presented in a book called "Het Verzameld Breiwerk van Loes Veenstra uit de 2e Carnissestraat" designed by Christien Meindertsma, published by Stichting Kunstimplantaat. De man van mijn collega Marja is naast leraar ook muzikant en songwriter. Hij schreef dit lied over het Hoornse Wildbreiproject. Volgens mij zijn we nu het enige Wildbrei project in de hele wereld met een eigen lied! Dat is pas cool!

My colleague's Marja's husband Joop is apart from being a teacher also a musician/songwriter. He wrote a song about the yarn bombing project in our town. I think we must be the only yarn bombing project in the world with it's own song! How cool is that!

Film van Ruud Stokkel over tuinfair / tuinevenement "Westfriesland Open" in De Weere (NH).  De modeshow is samengesteld en gestyled door Marianne Schouten en alle gebreide items komen bij ons uit de winkel! Dit vond afgelopen zomer plaats en was een groot succes! De modeshow in de video begint na 6,5 minuut.

Movie by Ruud Stokkel about the Garden Fair  "Westfriesland Open"in De Weere in Holland. The Fashion show was put together and styled by Marianne Schouten and all the knitted items are from our shop! This was in summer 2010 and it was a huge success! The actual fashion show in the video starts after about 6,5 minutes.
